Introduction
Dr. Kakali Priyam Goswami is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Assam Engineering College. An alumna of the institution, she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from AEC in 2015, subsequently earning her Master’s degree from IIT Delhi in 2018 and her PhD from IIT Guwahati in 2022.
Dr. Goswami specializes in high-impact research areas including ceramic membrane fabrication, membrane based liquid phase separation, wastewater treatment, etc. and has contributed significantly to the field as the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
Beyond her academic achievements, she brings valuable administrative and field experience to the Department. Prior to joining AEC, she served the Government of Assam's Public Health Engineering Department in key engineering roles, first as an Assistant Engineer and later as an Assistant Executive Engineer. Her diverse background combines rigorous academic research with practical public sector engineering expertise.
